Friendly match with FC Oulun Ruisku on 13 September 2009
On 13 September 2009 Finland United welcomed FC Oulun Ruisku, a team consisting of medical professionals from Oulu and other parts of Finland, for a friendly game in Stade du Cinquantenaire. FC Ruisku started the game looking sharp as their surgeons knives, their finishing however being less than clinical. At the end of the day Finland United made FC Ruisku taste their own medicine and the final score was 2-0 for the mighty EuroHuuhkajat. Finland United - Winners of the Rotterdam Cup 2009
The annual Rotterdam Cup between Finnish expat teams was competed in good spirits at the Seamen's Mission sports centre in Rotterdam on 16 May 2009. Finland United brought "the boy" back to Brussels after winning against Finnlux (Luxembourg) 4-1, drawing 1-1 with the Finnish Dutch team, and then beating LoPS from London 3-0, twice. Friendly match with the Balkan Journalists in 2008
On Sunday 14 September 2008, Finland United played a friendly against "Candidates and Potentials United" (Western Balkan journalists). Both sides showed flashes of quality football while Finland United scored enough goals to claim victory.
